Such a living embodiment of the Art, Poetry, and Integrity of his own mentors is Rodney Donaldson, that there is not a moment in his presence when my life is not transforming into something more, something unpredictable, something incredibly generous. I could not have imagined how vital that experience would be to the discovery of my own potential, to the awareness of my own freedom, & to the reclaiming of my own life. Yet, now, I cannot imagine how the spark for a truly lived life can be ignited until one meets a human being like Rodney Donaldson. I would not trade my hours of mentoring by Rodney Donaldson for anything in the world.

     Rodney’s ability to evoke the best in one is truly remarkable.

     A perfect balance between challenging and encouraging may be Rodney’s central, special skill— his gift as a teacher. It is a marvelous technique which allows for discovery, joy, and accomplishment. Rodney is a scholar with humility rather than arrogance. He is one of the most exceptional human beings I have ever met.

      Rodney speaks and teaches from his heart. My gratitude for his mentorship is profound.

     Rodney has a way of raising questions for me in such a gentle, non-threatening manner, shedding light from another perspective, that my interest is always piqued, and that process in and of itself becomes quite fascinating for me. Rodney’s greatest value to me is the manner in which he demonstrates his respect and caring for me as a human being. He is subtle and unobtrusive, yet I am very much aware of the importance of his presence for me, and for that I highly value him.

     Rodney excels at meeting people where they are and inviting them to new depths & breadths. He is one of the true authentic teachers in my life experience.

     Rodney is very present, supportive (without coddling me), and rigorous and challenging in every way (intellectually, professionally, spiritually, and emotionally).

     Rodney provides the rigor I like, to the degree I need. His encouragement of my wholeness is a joy. He provides helpful, nail-on-the-head suggestions for how I might better myself. He’s one of the most important people in my life because he’s done so much to help me break old habits.

     I don’t know where else I would be able to find the quality of learning and mentoring I have found with Rodney. His classes and one-on-one mentoring are personally, socially, and vocationally challenging and effective. I feel blessed to have found such mentorship.
